I'm sooo excited to be invited to Colombiamoda!!! the most important fashion event of the country.
It started yesterday, with back to back fashion shows of all the best local designers.
These are photos of what I liked the most.   Designers are more creative every time, very well organized event, and the energy it’s amazing.
All this week I will post photos of the runway and fashionistas.
What do you think of Colombian fashion? I think it's getting better every year! love love love!

Estoy superrrr emocionada de haber sido invitada a Colombiamoda!!! El evento mas importante de moda del país.
Empezó ayer, con desfiles uno tras otro de los mejores diseñadores nacionales.
Estas fotos, son de lo que mas me gusto. Los diseñadores cada vez mas creativos, una feria muy bien organizada, y donde se respira una energía increíble. Toda esta semana, tendré fotos de los desfiles y fashionistas.
Que piensas de la moda Colombiana? Yo creo que cada año se pone mejor! Me encanta!

Out to sea

These are outfits that I like to wear when I go sailing. They are perfect for the sea, and for different times of the day.
At daytime, I like to take advantage of the sun, and of course get a nice tan, so I bring a pair of sunglasses, a scarf to put on my head, so my hair don't get messy and doesn't burn with the sun.
For a night boat or sailing trip, I always take long sleeve shirts or a nice knit cotton sweater, because the wind is cool at night. And always, always wear flat shoes and never a skirt! it's common sense!

Me gustan estos outfits para ir en el velero.  Son perfectos para el mar y para diferentes horas del día.

 Para horas del día, me gusta tomar el sol y broncearme, así que llevo unas gafas, una pañoleta en la cabeza, para que el pelo se desordene y no se queme con el sol. 

Para un paseo de noche en bote o velero, siempre  llevo camisas manga larga o un suéter tejido en algodón, pues por la noche la brisa es fresca.  Y siempre, siempre usar zapatos planos y nunca falda! Es sentido común!

Retro pattern

Lately I have been looking for original, vintage, or old looking pieces. I've always like to keep things for a long time, or my mom's old accessories and clothes. I love some history in the things I wear and also, because they look unique and really don't follow any trend today. This dress I'm wearing in the photos has a wonderful retro pattern, and coloring; I wore it with ethnic silver jewelry

Ultimamente he estado buscando piezas originales, vintage y que se vean antiguas.  Siempre me ha gustado tener cosas por mucho tiempo y ponerme accesorios y ropa de mi mama y mi abuela.  Adoro ponerme piezas que tengan historia y también porque se ve única, sin seguir ninguna tendencia de hoy.  Este vestido que tengo en las fotos tiene un estampado y un colorido maravillosos y retro; lo lleve con joyería étnica en plata.

Sail away

It's been the perfect weekend! I went sailing around Cartagena bay yesterday.

It is one of my favorite things to do, just to be in the water, feeling the breeze in your face and just chilling the whole afternoon by the sea.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when I caught in my camera a procession.  It is a tradition in Cartagena that this day every year a lot of ships head to the statue of their Virgin del Carmen, right in the bay.

It was beautiful to see the little canoes full of people celebrating their religious holiday.

Ha sido el fin de semana perfecto! Salí a navegar ayer alrededor de la bahía de Cartagena.  Es uno de mis planes favoritos para hacer, solo estar en el agua, sentir la brisa en la cara y simplemente relajarme toda la tarde en el mar.
Una de las partes favoritas del día fue cuando vimos una procesión.  Es una tradición en Cartagena que hacen todos los años, en la que muchos embarcaciones van hacia la estatua de la Virgen del Carmen que esta en la bahía.

Fue lindo ver las pequeñas canoas llenas de personas celebrando su día religioso.

I find it very truly sensational how hand-made pieces look and feel different to the touch.

I'm loving animal prints lately; I've been buying a few pieces and also inheriting some vintage ones from my mom.

One winner combination is animal print + white, because it's a softer version and reallyyyy awesome for this summer.

Also adding some accessories in color refreshes the look.
